About Amanda Dameron, MS:
I’m a patient advocate. From counseling patients at the Cleveland Free Clinic to implementing strategies to reduce childhood obesity, I’ve worked in many areas of health care.
I spent several years working in disease management interventions and now write about health and wellness for various print and online publications.
My alma maters are Cleveland State University (bachelors in psychology/anthropology) and Emerson College/Tufts University (masters in health communication). Go Vikings/Lions/Jumbos.
I’m a mama, wife, friend, film snob, sushi lover, sometimes blogger, incessant laugher, geek admirer and wannabe pop culture maven.
I almost always have my Mac on my lap.
When I’m not working for WEGO, I’m usually chasing either my toddler or my jack russell terrier. I’m not sure who is in control at this point, but I’m starting to suspect that it's not me.
