I have been interested and worked in healthcare for the majority of my professional career. I worked 5 years for a psychiatric hospital, 7 years for a cardiopulmonary manufacturer, and the past year as an editor of medical transcription. I have a personal interest in many areas because of friends and family being diagnosed. Some of those conditions are ADHD, Epilepsy, MS, Sensory Integration Disorder, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Usher's Syndrome, Autism, Multiple Cancers (Lung, Breast, and Colon), Heart Disease, and Diabetes. I am active within several communities. Some of them include BabyCenter where I was a host, two epilepsy boards and several lung cancer boards. Thank you for participating in the WEGO community.
